Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities Assist with classroom management and student supervision Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help Prepare and organise educational materials Help students with their learning and development Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths Experience working with children in an educational setting Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: A qualification in Teaching Assistance or related field is desirable Experience: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of educational principles and practises Ability to support students with diverse learning needs Organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Certificate or Diploma in Teaching Assistance First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work within school hours, Monday to Friday Dynamic and fast-paced classroom environment Opportunity for professional development and training All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
