As a Field Team Manager, you will lead a team of smart meter engineers and installers, ensuring they provide a safe, efficient, and high-quality customer experience. You will be responsible for managing team performance, compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement within the field operations. The role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
What you’ll do:
1. Manage a large team of smart meter engineers and EV Installers.
2. Oversee the day-to-day operations, including team management, operational reporting, managing third parties, and industry compliance.
3. Drive constant improvements of processes and report back to your Operations Manager.
4. Lead internal and external meetings with senior stakeholders.
5. Support the growth and recruitment strategy of the team.
6. Facilitate employee communication with the management team.
7. Provide operational expertise and support to the teams.
8. Develop a deep understanding of Octopus culture and customer experience, setting the tone for your team.
