Job summary
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Ensuring People, Process and Systems are in place to deliver timely, accurate, and relevant financial information to key stakeholders.
2. Develop and upskill the finance team.
3. Living and breathing our core behaviours and our why, enhancing employee engagement across the finance team and group.
4. Delivering exceptional levels of client service for our internal clients.
5. Developing and implementing a contracts database and identifying enhancements in our supplier base.
6. Identifying and implementing tactics to deliver improved EBITDA conversion and cash flow.
7. Operating a 13-week and monthly cash flow forecast.
8. Operating a fully integrated rolling forecast.
9. Leading the end-to-end annual budgeting process.
10. Identification and implementation of a new financial system.
11. Delivery of key financial and operational financial measures each month.
12. Development of Board pack materials, narrative, and key insights.
13. Ensuring the company’s assets are protected through appropriate insurance and risk management procedures.
14. Centralising and improving our credit control procedures.
15. Managing the end-to-end annual audit process and ensuring all statutory filings are completed on time.
16. Leading the integration of financial systems and processes following acquisitions.
17. Support the CFO and CEO in the due diligence of potential acquisitions.
18. Enhance month-end close procedures with formal review and sign-off of all balance sheet reconciliations.
19. Support the CEO and CFO with the development of business cases to support investment decisions including potential acquisitions.
20. To undertake additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
