Job Description
Radley Green is leading the search for a CFO to join a private equity-backed, tech-driven company specializing in IT channels and logistics solutions. This business, which focuses on software and hardware for the supply chain and logistics sector, is looking for a CFO with a proven track record in private equity environments to drive their ambitious 5-year exit strategy .
The company currently operates with a £15m turnover and £5m EBITDA and is poised for significant growth. They are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded CFO to streamline operations, optimize financial performance, and help guide the business towards a successful liquidity event within the next five years.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the financial strategy to support the company’s aggressive growth targets, aligning it with overall business objectives.
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, providing actionable insights to the executive team to facilitate data-driven decisions.
* Manage key relationships with private equity investors, banks, and other financial stakeholders, ensuring the company maintains an optimal capital structure and secures funding for growth initiatives.
* Oversee risk management strategies, including regulatory compliance, financial controls, and audit processes, to ensure sound governance.
* Support the company’s global expansion by navigating financial complexities across multiple markets and jurisdictions.
* Build and lead a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a CFO within private equity-backed organizations, ideally in logistics or channel partner businesses.
* A track record of driving strategic growth and preparing businesses for liquidity events.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, inspire, and build an effective finance team.
* Expertise in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting, with familiarity in international accounting standards a plus.
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
