Maintaining cleanliness within Chichester Suite ward.
The Chichester Suite ward is looking to recruit Domestic Assistants to join their team.
The post holder will be responsible for cleaning the clinical ward/department.
Work as a team member with a flexible approach to provide a comprehensive service to the ward, undertaking all cleaning whilst adhering to all Health and Safety standards, ensuring all areas of allocated cleaning are kept to a high standard, and any other duties deemed within the grading of the post.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Cleaning clinical departments to National Cleaning Standards 2021, with training provided.
2. Maintain confidentiality of information about patients, staff, and other health service business in accordance with Trust Policy.
3. Assist hospital staff, visitors, and patients, following Trust policies and procedures.
4. Guide and direct visitors, dealing with them in a helpful and friendly manner.
5. Communicate sensitive information using tact and diplomacy when dealing with deceased family and friends.
6. Actively participate in any departmental Information Technology initiatives.

Skills and Experience
* Ability to understand verbal and written communication and demonstrate a good command of spoken English.
* Ability to follow instructions with a friendly disposition.
* Previous experience in a front-line service, with awareness of customer service.
* Experience in a healthcare environment.
