Robert Half are working exclusively with a membership body in Edinburgh to recruit a Bookkeeper/Finance Officer on a permanent, part-time basis (24 hours a week). Our client is looking for an all-rounded Bookkeeper who can roll their sleeves up and hit the ground running. Extremely flexible working model in place with only weekly-fortnightly requirement to be onsite. Key responsibilities Full Purchase & Sales Ledger Bank reconciliations VAT returns Assist with Management Accounts - completing month end income and cost reconciliations, assisting with month end journals Assisting with yearly Audit preparation and the management of audit logs Completing weekly and monthly revenue and cost control checks Supporting the Finance and Audit committee including scheduling of meetings, preparation and distribution of papers, agendas, presentations and minute taking Preparing Finance papers for Council Must have: Proven experience of working in a Finance Office Proven expertise with computerised accounts systems, preferably Xero Efficient office administration and providing support to the Chief Operating Officer VAT, OSCR and Companies House requirements Highly proficient computer skills including in-depth knowledge of Excel and major Microsoft programs Good editing, data collection, record keeping with extensive analysis skillset Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
