Credit Controller Annual Salary: £27k - £28k Location: Birchwood, Warrington Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid after probation with two days working from home) Benefits: 34 days annual leave per annum inclusive of bank holidays, increasing to 36 days after 2 years’ service. Duties Chasing arrears, agree on payment plans, and work with the Credit Manager to rectify arrears cases. Manage and maintain records of client administration activity, ensuring all data is uploaded onto relevant systems completely, accurately, and in accordance with GDPR guidelines. Complete administrative tasks as necessary during the life of the contract. Compile necessary paperwork for the instruction of agents prior to Credit Manager approving instruction. Liaise with outsourced legal service suppliers during the conduct of legal actions on our behalf. Escalate issues and complaints in a timely manner, in accordance with company processes and regulatory requirements. Requirements Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with GDPR and other regulatory requirements. Proficiency in using financial and administrative software.
