About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our financial operations area as a Finance Administrator.
The role is varied and will give you the opportunity to extend your skills and knowledge across multiple systems and areas within Wesleyan.
You will work closely with the team supporting on processing business payments for purchase ledger, interface payments, manual payments, chaps, intercompany transfers, regulatory pay-overs and any other business payments.
You will gain knowledge in areas such as WFS 3rd party commission, general insurance, payments and receipts, month end processes, control accounts and bank reconciliations.
What you’ll be doing:
· Processing supplier payments.
· To prepare the daily/monthly journals to post income receipts to the nominal ledger and expenses journals at month end.
· Support the Investigation and resolution of any discrepancies that are generated from daily reports. Increasing knowledge and understanding of business processes.
· Support when required in the preparation of Bank reconciliations and control accounts.
· Ensure both internal and external queries are appropriately responded to within agreed SLAs.
We’re looking for:
· Previous experience of working within an Administration role.
· Must be IT literate, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.
· The ability to process daily tasks to deadline, accurately and in a timely manner.
· Previous experience of consolidation master or Microsoft D365 would be advantageous.
