Working with a leader in assurance and compliance is a great choice for you About the role Clients in sectors like Pressure Equipment and Pressure Equipment Assemblies depend on our team to effectively audit their management systems, providing assurance of compliance and risk management aligned with EU Directives, such as The Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. As a Lead Auditor, you will independently or within a team verify management systems, focusing on EU Directives and UK Regulations, with a primary emphasis on the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations (PE(S)R). Acting as an expert, you’ll assess and examine management systems for clients nationwide. In addition to conducting risk-focused audits and making certification decisions, you’ll need to bring a strong working knowledge of the PED to effectively audit clients' quality systems. Leveraging your interpersonal skills, you’ll guide and support other auditors, foster positive client relationships, and proactively share feedback to continuously improve our service. This role offers a healthy blend of client site visits, travel, and flexibility to conduct remote audits when required. It’s a dynamic, challenging role where you’ll meet many different people and tackle intriguing (technical) challenges Job requirements Degree qualified (or equivalent experience). Recent experience in third-party auditing of management systems, preferably with another certification body. ISO9001 Lead Auditor experience. Strong knowledge and experience with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations (PE(S)R). Understanding of codes, standards, specifications, and procedures. Welding knowledge is desirable. Ability to manage client relationships effectively. Strong communication and decision-making skills; able to deliver clear audit outcomes. Proficient in completing audit reports effectively and efficiently. Willingness to travel when necessary. Flexible and proactive attitude. Why work with us?
