LI-Hybrid This is the job Reporting to the Senior Manager – Performance and Insight, you will be responsible for providing detailed customer and commercial insights through effective performance data analysis techniques, assisting profitable customer management by improving retention, reducing cost to serve and enhancing cross-sell/upsell strategies. As an Insight Analyst you will use market-leading mathematical tools and analytical techniques to execute and maintain The AA’s incentive schemes. What will I be doing? Deliver customer analysis to support business decision making and tactical execution Provide analytical input to support the development of customer strategy, marketing strategy and product development Support ad-hoc analysis requirements, meeting the specific needs of the business, through a clear briefing process Use appropriate data analysis techniques and tool sets to deliver actionable customer intelligence efficiently Monitor incentive performance across agents, departments, functions and budgets, against an agreed set of measures Administration of the Incentives SQL Database to maintain the integrity of the automated payment process Prepare reports and analyse trends using SQL, Power BI, SSRS, and MS Office for various audiences Analyse commercial and customer improvement opportunities and utilise statistical models to understand customer risk, value and behaviour Build links between Customer Operations and Commercial targeting to align holistic performance reporting Ensure effective use of model scores and flags in marketing campaigns Identify data quality issues and improve data structure within the Data Warehouse (DAVE) What do I need? Capability, Knowledge and Experience: Experience working in a reporting, MI or BI dashboard team in a fast-paced environment and complex business setting Experience in building and maintaining reliable and scalable MI reporting, dashboards and semantic layers including all aspects of the development lifecycle (build, test, release etc.) A strong working knowledge of SQL and Power BI is desirable, however a broad technical skill set and experience working with other systems/tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, SSRS or similar will also be beneficial Demonstrable competence in the delivery of actionable customer and commercial intelligence Personal Characteristics: Highly numerate, with good data interpretation skills Highly computer literate in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data mining software Good communication, planning and influencing skills Ability to work as a team player is critical, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines Additional information We’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
