Machine Setter / Operator
Location: Cheltenham, UK (On-site)

Role Overview:
The Machine Setter/Operator will set and operate CNC lathes.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…
* Setting computer numerically controlled (CNC) lathes
* Producing parts to drawing, deburring, cleaning and packaging to set procedures
* Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometers
* Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), production rates, workplace organisation, front line operator asset care (FLOAC), maintenance and cleanliness of machine equipment
* Understanding and complying with Company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) practices, identifying areas for improvement and supporting related initiatives
* Engaging, suggesting and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and projects as required
Your previous experience is likely to include….
* Basic CNC setting and operating experience
* Basic experience with measuring equipment
* Working within a production environment
* Working with basic computer skills
* Gaining NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Manufacturing
