ABOUT THE BRANDED SITES TEAM
Branded Sites are a multi-function delivery team within BBC Studios focused on delivery of direct-to-consumer solutions. We work in a fast-paced environment. Our products include a number of marquee brands including Bluey, Top Gear, Doctor Who, Hey Duggee and BBC Earth.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced candidate who will provide cover for a Senior Delivery Manager on maternity cover for a period of 6 months. This role provides the opportunity to be part of an exciting and focused team that values creativity and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Experience as a Scrum master ideally within a digital technology team who can join the team to help drive the outputs, enhance stakeholder relationships, contribute to refine processes, and hold suppliers to account.
* Driving the delivery process of products and services towards outcomes for a team or teams.
* Applying the delivery methodology to deliver a successful outcome.
* Responsible for maintaining delivery momentum and managing blockers, risks and impediments to progress.
* Responsible for ensuring deliverables are defined against clearly articulated outcomes. Leads continuous planning practices and ensures work is visible and there is an iterative plan to work towards that is actively communicated and understood by teams & stakeholders.
* Leading on creating an environment where continuous improvements of teams' working practices can happen, including measuring success, inspecting and adapting.
* Supports effective supplier and budget management to deliver successful outcomes.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Experience delivering digital products, platforms and services using agile methods.
* Knowledge of a variety of agile practices and how best to apply these.
* Understanding the different phases of software delivery and can contribute to, plan and run these.
* Experience of working with multiple 3rd parties/suppliers to facilitate resolution, follow-up on open items, escalate issues and drive improvement.
* Jira and Confluence experience.
DESIRABLE
* Experience working within the media sector.

This is a 6 MONTHS FIX TERM CONTRACT.

Band: D
Salary: £57,700 - £70,000 plus London Weighting Allowance of £5,319 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Location: This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.
