Overview
MCL require an experienced Bid Manager to join our Aberdeen clients expanding team.
Duration: Long term - Our client anticipates the transition from Bid Manager to a Business/Projects/Technical Manager role after securing contract(s), depending on particular candidate’s expertise.
Location: Aberdeen - Hybrid working is acceptable but our client does expect the successful applicant to be based in the office 3 days per week.
Rate: To be discussed. Please provide your rate expectation upon application
Hours per week: 40
Role: Contract basis is acceptable however this role will also be considered as a staff role

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for collecting, collating, and investigating North Sea offshore engineering information, identifying bidding projects, formulating bidding plans, producing & clarifying tendering documents and organizing their implementation.
2. Responsible for the negotiation of the entire bidding process, participation in bidding project meetings, responsible for the bidding and quotation process, cost evaluation of the bidding project and quotation.
3. Responsible for handling pre-qualification and bidding procedures, ensuring compliance with bidding requirements, updating the company's qualification documents, and maintaining the record information.
4. Cooperating with the client’s visits and inspection.
5. Follow-up on bidding related issues in accordance with the requirements of bidding documents.
6. Analyzing the results of bidding, summarizing project experience and formulating countermeasures and improvement measures.
7. Responsible for establishing and updating the bidding ledger.
8. Responsible for the overall handover of the project after rewarding, providing explanations and clarifications of the bidding documents to ensure that all project personnel are familiar with the project.
9. Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
10. More than 8 years working experience in offshore oil & gas industry or relevant industry, familiar with the local bidding, tender production, and submission of documents in North Sea.
