This is a new opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the established integrated sexual health service in Bradford focusing on the outreach and prevention element of sexual health service including joint service delivery with Yorkshire MESMAC.
Do you have a passion for providing innovative community services for vulnerable and marginalised populations including looked after children, people who engage with substance misuse, sexual exploitation, those involved in the sex industry, men who have sex with men, and those with complex health and social needs?
Bradford sexual health service is excited to recruit to a new innovative role within its clinical outreach model to support the expansion of existing outreach delivery.
The sexual health services provide clinical outreach, prevention, and health promotion to a wide cohort of patients/service users across a range of settings including sex on premises sites, residential care homes, homeless and refuge provisions, street outreach, and public health venues.
The post holder will be required to allocate a proportion of their time to work with Yorkshire MESMAC in the delivery of the overall sexual health model.
The post holder would be joining a well-established multi-disciplinary team of advanced nurse practitioners, nurses, prevention workers, engagement workers, and partnership managers, where partnership working is integral to the delivery of sexual health care within the community. The post holder will work in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders across the districts to develop, implement, and evaluate sexual health interventions.
This is a new opportunity for an experienced health care assistant or equivalent with advanced skills to work autonomously and under the supervision and guidance of the senior clinician.
This is a fantastic chance to be part of the ongoing development and innovation of the clinical delivery of sexual health services in the community. The successful candidate will be innovative and ambitious, and you will be able to demonstrate an ability to work efficiently, autonomously, and productively to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
We require candidates who will contribute to the overall improvement of the health and wellbeing of our patients by delivering care through a patient-centered approach and who will join a friendly and progressive team making a difference to local communities and reducing health inequalities.
