We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering an engaging and inclusive curriculum, helping students to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. This role begins April 2025.
Duties as a Year 4 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Support and challenge students of all abilities, ensuring progress for all learners
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged
* Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to inspire a love of learning
* Assess, track, and provide feedback on student progress, adapting lessons to meet individual needs
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support student development
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being in line with school policies
* Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events
Ideal Year 4 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4
* A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
* A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential
* Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to high expectations for all learners as a Year 4 Teacher.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
