About the Team
The Asset Operations Revenue & Licensing Team protect circa £10M of TfL budgets per annum. This is an opportunity to work in a pivotal team that recovers rechargeable income from third parties for a range of operational and engineering services, and protects budgets through a civil claims recovery/defence operation.
Job Purpose
This role supports Asset Operations in gathering network intelligence and performing operational tasks to assist in the delivery of a network capable of increasing customer satisfaction. This role is also responsible for updating systems and processing data and work orders. Surface Transport operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, so you need to be prepared to work outside of core office hours on an exceptional basis by mutual agreement. In these instances, Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be applicable.
Job Overview
1. This role has a data and systems focus on Recharging Costs, Claims Cost Recovery and Defence and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Support the delivery and management of inspections by keeping accurate records and carrying out site inspections.
3. Responsible for entering, collecting and the collation of data relating to safety, quality, performance and delivery of operational works.
4. Assist in checking the accuracy and completeness of asset inventory data and reports produced by the team to ensure consistency and required standards are being met.
5. Responsible for providing, receiving, checking and ultimately the storing of documents relating to operating activities including licensing, third party claims, enforcement notices and asset testing.
6. Arrange, administer and assist in the preparation and running of team meetings, presentations and the dissemination of information to all teams in asset operations.
7. Carry out administrative duties relating to updating systems and processing of data and work orders ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner and are to the highest standard.
8. Support the Operations team in managing operational activities by carrying out site inspections, enforcement activities, undertaking systems tests and gathering network intelligence.
9. Measure works undertaken by the supply chain to ensure works are delivered to time, cost and quality.

• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent and/or qualification in a highways/asset management related subject

• Understanding of asset management systems or another relational database

• Previous administrative experience, including minute taking and subsequent production of notes/reports.
• Experience of a range of business systems.
• Experience of stakeholder engagement, internal and external.
• Experience of working in a high pace, high pressure operational environment.
