If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role in providing support to the logistics and procurement team by carrying out general administrative duties, processing and placing orders for equipment and materials. This role involves organising and storing documents, working in Google Sheets, organising various order types for despatch, creating purchase orders, updating records and responding to order issues. At Veolia Water Technologies UK, we are committed to ensure you have the best experience possible and take your career to the next level Some more brief responsibilities of an Apprentice Procurement Administrator are: Reviewing the daily back order report, allocating stock where available. Updating the daily back order report with accurate confirmed delivery dates on back ordered items. Processing orders for despatch. Updating orders in Latis with DTS information. Liaising with customer service on obsolete/used up parts. Advising lead time and availability of parts. Providing customer PODS (proof of deliveries). Arranging customer return collections. Prepare purchase orders and send order requests to suppliers. Update records and follow up with vendors to check if the order is being processed. If issues arise with shipments or orders are incorrect or late, work with the supplier to resolve the issue. Build strong relationships with key contacts, working with them closely to fix problems as quickly as possible. Perform inventory and administrative tasks i.e. preparing and forwarding invoices, updating databases, filing and organising documents for accounts. Provide additional administrative support for team members as needed. Apprenticeship - Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship The apprenticeship will be provided through an external provider and will include online workshops and on the job training/assessments. The apprentice should ensure all coursework is completed in a timely manner in order to attain a suitable qualification. General requirements for the role: GCSE or equivalent – English and Maths is required. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, with the versatility to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner. A professional approach to your work. Able to work alone and as part of a team. Super organised with an eye for detail. Efficient in use of IT packages.
