We have an exciting new opportunity for a receptionist to join the team based in Tiptree Medical Centre on a part-time basis, for 20-30 hours per week. Main duties include: Booking appointments. Greeting and answering queries from patients and outside agencies. Signposting to appropriate members of staff. Updating patient records, processing correspondence and liaising with patients using various different types of communication methods. You will need to have flexibility to cover other shifts. About the Candidate You will have a good standard of education including Maths and English and have experience of working and providing customer service. Ideally you will have previous reception experience and it would be beneficial if you have experience working within primary care, however this is not essential. You will need to have strong IT skills and be able to use computer based systems. Experience of SystmOne would be desirable, however full training will be given to a suitable candidate. You will have excellent communication skills both written and orally, and have good social skills. You will have a friendly and positive approach towards patients and other visitors either in person or o ver the telephone.
