In this dynamic role, you will oversee and manage payroll operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient payroll processing for the entire organisation. What You'll Do:
1. Deliver precise payroll processing, ensuring all deadlines are met.
2. Manage payroll amendments for new starters, leavers, contract changes, and tax code updates.
3. Input and validate timesheets, expense claims, and other payroll data.
4. Handle statutory payments and deductions, including maternity and paternity leave calculations.
5. Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, management, and external contacts with professionalism.
6. Collaborate with the IT team on payroll system upgrades - ensuring thorough checks before any system implementation.
7. Undertake any other duties as directed by your Line Manager.
Who You Are:
1. Qualification & Experience: You either hold a recognised payroll or accountancy qualification or bring substantial professional experience in payroll.
2. Expert Knowledge: You have in-depth knowledge of payroll systems, taxation, and national insurance, and you can apply this expertise with ease.
3. Tech-Savvy: With advanced skills in Word and Excel, you're no stranger to databases and IT tools.
4. Experience: You have recent hands-on experience managing payroll operations.
