As Events Administrator, you will support an integral part of a highly successful and innovative company renowned for its passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will play a key support role in organising events ranging from weddings and private parties to corporate events and a pop-up restaurant. Based in a beautiful rural, luxury high-end location just outside Banbury, the role is permanent, full-time, with a salary of between £28,000 to £30,000 DOE. Purpose of the role:
Supporting the Office Manager and Events team, you will be carrying out varied administration activities to support the core of the business.
Key Accountabilities for the Events Administrator:
1. Dealing with new enquiries, new bookings, existing communications, and event planning administration
2. Liaising with clients on a daily basis
3. Supporting with administration for events across the business
4. Assisting with the sales process, giving all enquiries prompt attention and time
5. Managing administrative processes with a keen eye for detail, ensuring consistent quality of customer care, prioritisation, and time management
6. Ensuring all events admin planned and delivered to company standard
7. Contributing to the creation of menu proposals
8. Ensuring all sales collateral is up to date regarding pricing, content, and document presentation
9. Organising client tasting sessions
10. Liaising with all departments for planning, administration, and delivery of events
11. Updating and maintaining the CRM database
12. Supporting with management of client finances, collaborating with the accounts team to adhere to all financial procedures
13. Proficiently using company platforms, including Microsoft Office, Project Management tools, and industry-specific software
14. Checking all final event paperwork, making adjustments if necessary for all supplies for upcoming events
15. Participating in customer visits, events, and marketing activities
Key Skills Required for the Events Administrator:
1. Strong organised administration experience
2. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
3. Experience in working with bespoke CRM systems and online platforms
4. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
5. Proactive approach, ability to use initiative and take ownership of a task
6. Confident communicator with high levels of customer care
7. Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external teams
8. Adaptable in a changing environment
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office
10. Own transport due to remote location
