Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Account Executive with a strong background within the media broadcasting industry to drive our SaaS offering. You will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our market presence in the Nordic region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and a deep understanding of the media broadcasting landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the media broadcasting sector across the Nordic region.
* Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
* Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
* Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
* Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our Video and SaaS products and services, and effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
* Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for clients.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the sales engineering, engineering, marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* You will have in the region of 8 years of successful sales experience, preferably within the media broadcasting or related industry
* Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with industry leaders and influencers in Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden or Finland
* Previous experience selling SaaS, Subscription or any other recurring revenue models within media broadcast/video or related industries
* Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong understanding of the Media Technology industry, including trends, challenges, and emerging technologies
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
* Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
* Knowledge of broadcast technology, including hardware, software, and services
* Ability to travel required
