Introduction
The core functional areas of this role are to expedite the end-to-end order cycle and service delivery to our customers. The roles' primary objective is to expedite the last mile of the operations, by tracking routes and take on-day actions to ensure operational plans are executed in full. Other objectives are outbound communication to customers regarding deliveries and assist with inbound customer queries, offering a unique customer service to our Famous Brands franchise network.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Expedite the execution of scheduled load plans and ensure timely delivery, including all other logistic activities.
* Monitor and live track vehicles on road deliveries and execution.
* Monitor and communicate potential high-risk areas.
* Report and escalate breakdowns to relevant DC and fleet department.
* Activity being actively monitored in trade
o Compliance with the route plan.
o Delivery execution on device handhelds.
o Stop adherence.
* Communicate ETA or delay status to customers, planners, and DCs.
* Review and provide short cycle feedback to DC on execution adherence. Maintain constant communication with support services and DCs to identify process and service improvement opportunities.
* Action and close route notification tickets.
* Communicate potential missed deliveries to DC and planners.
* Distribute KPIs on process flows and process adherence.
* Supply daily start-up reports and end of shift updates on the day's activities to DCs.
* Assist in planning and scheduling of back orders and additional approved orders outside of the primary load plan.
* Release and allocate orders to warehouse operations for execution outside of the primary load.
* Assist with communication to customers on short supply or out of stock.
* Perform clerical duties and maintain accurate records and files of activities.
Facilitate the flow of master data updates between the planning and execution systems

Desired Experience & Qualifications
* Ms Office (Excel).
* Experienced in order/delivery tracking software.
* 3 years logistics experience in FMCG.
* Customer service /Telesales/Call Centre experience.
* Communication software.
* ERP software.
* Certificate/Diploma - Supply Chain/Logistics.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Math and analytical skills.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Ability to work different shift hours and patterns.
