E&I Construction / Site Manager required for a large battery storage facility project in Essex.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the safe execution of project and site / construction implementation including HSEQ, Commercial and Project Controls functions of the project.
2. Preparation of pre-mobilisation plans and requirements including HSE, Quality, RAMS and ITP's, ensuring the project is fully compliant with all HSEQ policies and procedures.
3. Monitoring the deployment of labour, supervision, and equipment. Managing manpower, resource planning, and mobilisation, ensuring the installation keeps on plan.
4. Set up project measurements and SE.
5. Monitoring project cost control ensuring efficient practices. Managing procurement, tender evaluation, and sub-contract selection.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Proven construction management track record with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Pharmaceutical Industries.
2. Electrical trade background preferred.
3. Manage the E&I contract, Mechanical and Heavy Equipment installation, respective sub-contractors, and monitor progress and reporting, walk-down, punch-listing, clearing, and closure.
4. Interface and close coordination with Client, EP team, and other project team members.
5. Experience in the enforcement of Safety Legislation and Corporate Safety Procedures and Requirements. Safety focused.
6. Ability to manage the Builder’s works e.g. Piling, Foundation, substructure & superstructure, architectural, external & infrastructure works, etc., inclusive of respective M&E services, ensuring ITP and document compliance.
7. Proactive with good leadership and communication skills.
