About the RoleAs an Internal Recruitment Assistant, you'll be the very first point of contact for potential candidates across all areas of our business with a primary focus on our retail division. Your aim is to champion our brand, elevate our reputation as an employer of choice, and craft an unparalleled candidate experience.

Here’s What You Can Expect to be DoingAs an Internal Recruitment Assistant, you’ll be the friendly and professional first point of contact for candidates across all divisions, with a strong focus on our retail operations. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, represent our brand with pride, and now, be part of the team that ensures every new starter’s onboarding experience is smooth, positive, and aligned with our values.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Welcoming new applicants and supporting them from application to offer and onboarding.
2. Championing our employer brand and helping to position us as an employer of choice.
3. Supporting hiring managers through each step of the recruitment and onboarding process.
4. Building relationships with external partners and job boards to widen our reach.
5. Coordinating interviews, candidate communication, and onboarding tasks with clarity and care.
6. Promoting our vacancies across social media and local platforms.
7. Bringing fresh thinking to the table to drive continuous improvement.
8. Ensuring consistency in recruitment and onboarding across 160+ retail stores and other business areas.
9. Representing the company at job fairs and recruitment events across the North of England.
10. Supporting the end-to-end onboarding journey, ensuring new starters feel welcomed, informed, and ready to begin their career with us.
A Few Things About YouTo succeed in this role, you'll need:
11. Previous experience in telephone-based customer service.
12. Confidence working in a fast-paced, people-centric environment.

14. A friendly and confident telephone manner.
15. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
16. A high level of integrity and strong work ethic.
17. Brilliant organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

19. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is desirable.
