Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and creative lessons following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children, including those with mild SEN. Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and external professionals to ensure the best support for every child. Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on children’s progress. Conduct ongoing assessments to track development and tailor learning accordingly. Maintain a high standard of classroom management while promoting a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere. What We Are Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development. Experience working with young children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting. Confidence in differentiating lessons and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster independence and a love of learning. A collaborative and proactive approach, working well within a team and engaging with the wider school community.
