The Role
We’re looking for full time candidates with strong UX writing and content design experience, in tech companies and/or for digital products.
Duration: 6 months, full time
Responsibilities:
* Write and edit user-focused content across the Depop apps (iOS & Android) and Depop.com
* Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers and engineers
* Act as a Depop voice and tone consultant, providing guidance to non-writers where necessary
* Work with legal and regulatory teams to make sure any content you write is compliant with industry standards and regulations, where necessary
* Contribute to team documentation including content design guidelines
* Use feedback and testing results to iterate effectively
Requirements:
* Experienced UX Writer / Content Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating ability to write clear and engaging content for a variety of digital products and platforms
* Minimum 3 years experience as a UX writer / content designer
* Fashion, retail or related tech industry experience would be beneficial
* Experience writing for a US audience would also be beneficial
* You are able to balance key user needs with business objectives
* You have a strong understanding of UX design principles and how content influences user behaviour and interaction
* You are able to justify your copy with user research, competitor research or UX best practices
* You have excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively individually and as part of particular squads where necessary
* You have strong organisational skills and thrive in an environment that requires you to manage multiple projects, with several teams, simultaneously
* Proficient in Figma
