JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is currently recruiting for a Timekeeper in Aberdeen. This role will be based out of Sir Ian Wood House on a hybrid basis. This is a part-time role working 25 hours across 5 days (Mon-Fri).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties of timekeeper include:
1. Ensure accurate and timely recording of site and offshore timesheets
2. Verifying coding, allowances and general maintenance of the time writing database
3. Reporting, checking and analysing data daily
4. Providing support to the finance team
Key Accountabilities:
1. Input of offshore and site-based personnel timesheets into the electronic database system, in line with the personnel/contract terms and conditions, to meet the weekly and monthly payroll deadlines.
2. Check the coding and arithmetical accuracy of hours and data received
3. Monthly input of all overtime payments received for offshore and site personnel (Allowances / Excess Days)
4. Accurate entry of standby and training into time writing database
5. Assistance with preparation of monthly client invoices in accordance with contract commercial terms and conditions
6. General administrative support to the Project Accounting Team
7. Daily interaction with multiple departments within the business to enable all timesheets to be recorded accurately
8. Set up / Management of Timewriting & Approval Groups
9. A10 Timecard adjustments
10. Missing timecard management
11. Absence Reconciliations
