Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Support Worker at University Hospital Ayr.
What you will do:
As a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker, with minimal supervision and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, you will carry out their assigned workload and prioritising direct patient care.
As a member of our team you will be committed to delivering a high standard of patient care and will display knowledge of the organisation’s values and share the vision to take the department forward to provide safe and effective patient centered care.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Completion of Senior Healthcare Support Worker competency framework and/or SVQ3 in Healthcare related subject and / or equivalent knowledge gained in a relevant area through experience, on the job training and/or short courses or appropriate competency to undertake role is desirable
Can demonstrate a range of core skills to competently undertake patient care and other tasks and activities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to show initiative and work without direct supervision as required, on a daily basis
