Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers for our customers in the UB postcode area (Uxbridge/ Hayes/ Northolt/ Greenford/ West Drayton etc).
PLEASE NOTE ALL ROLES ARE ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS - SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED.
GBP20.50 to GBP24.50 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)
(Depending on experience, overtime, nights, weekends etc).
* On-going position for the right candidates!

Type of shifts (depending on Company):
* Multi drop deliveries in and around M25 (up to 10 drops).
* Delivering for builders merchants, scaffolding, Plant equipment deliveries.
* Shifts are mostly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends).
Requirements of Class 2 HIAB Drivers:
* Valid UK CAT C licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements).
* Valid HIAB certification.
* Valid CPC and TACHO.
* Manual driving licence.
* You must be over the age of 25 years for insurance purposes.
* At least 1 year Class 2 HIAB driving experience (references required).
* Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C) in the past 12 months.
* Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting.
* Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
All-round Duties:
* Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner.
* Secure load onto vehicle (strapping).
* Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues.
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Rates of pay:
* We are paying for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
* Overtime is paid after 9 hours (breaks are not paid).
* PAYE between GBP20.50 and GBP24.50 per hour (rates differ for experience, nights, weekends, bank/public holidays and overtime).
