We are Education people specialists; we have a team of leaders who have all worked in education for many years and understand the business challenges that schools and MATs have to deal with day in and day out. We have developed cloud based software for schools to give them a one-stop shop for their people management. Our Payroll & Pension Bureau removes the admin burden for schools, allowing us to provide a flexible and reliable payroll solution tailored to accommodate their needs, ensuring peace of mind that their staff will be paid accurately and on time, every time. We’re looking to add a Payroll Officer into our growing payroll team to continue the exciting rollout of our bureau service. What will you do day to day? You’ll manage a portfolio of customers monthly payroll operations, ensuring each stage of the payroll process is actioned in full Ensure that all staff are paid correctly, along with updating payroll systems with up to date rates including correct pay rates, allowance values, pension deductions, NI rates and tax thresholds Calculate pay adjustments where required (such as outstanding holiday pay or pay to be collected due to leavers) Processing maternity, paternity and shared parental pay calculations in line with customer policies and expectations. Other bits which are important Qualifications – Ideally degree level or with relevant payroll qualifications Previous experience of payroll processing (education sector would be a bonus but not a dealbreaker) Experience of HMRC requirements with regards to Tax, NI and statutory deductions & payments.
