The successful candidate will work in a specialist school set on beautiful grounds, catering to children and young people aged 4-19 years. The role involves developing the communication skills of pupils with needs arising from autism, social communication challenges, and developmental delays/disorders. This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £34 per hour. Main responsibilities of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy: Manage your own specialist caseload using developed clinical skills and innovative practice. Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and children in a supportive and person-centred partnership towards agreed goals and outcomes. Deliver 1:1 and small group therapy sessions tailored to the individual needs of the pupils. Essential requirements of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy. HCPC registration (essential). Proven experience working with children and young people with autism, social communication needs, and developmental delays/disorders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the pupils and the school environment. Right to work in the UK. Additional Duties: Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Monitor and evaluate the progress of pupils, adjusting therapy plans as necessary. Provide training and support to school staff and parents to facilitate effective communication strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and pupil progress. Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to ensure a holistic approach to pupil development.
