A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for an experienced Senior Internal Auditor based in Leeds. This is an ideal role for a motivated audit professional looking to join a dynamic organisation that values insight, integrity, and innovation.
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the internal audit function, delivering assurance over key business processes, and helping to drive improvements across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, lead, and deliver end-to-end internal audits in line with the annual audit plan
\t
* Assess the effectiveness of risk management, governance, and internal control frameworks
\t
* Produce high-quality reports and present findings to senior stakeholders
\t
* Provide recommendations to improve processes and mitigate risks
\t
* Support audit planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
\t
* Mentor junior members of the team when required
Key Requirements:
\t
* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, IIA or equivalent)
\t
* Proven internal audit experience, ideally within a complex or regulated environment
\t
* Strong understanding of governance, risk, and control principles
\t
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\t
* Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
