Our client is currently seeking a Senior Planning Consultant to join their team based in Cheshire. This is a permanent position and presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to further their career in development management and town planning. Key Responsibilities: Managing and delivering a wide range of planning projects simultaneously Providing expert advice on development management and town planning matters Preparing and submitting successful planning applications and appeals Representing clients at public inquiries and hearings Developing and maintaining strong client relationships Ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time Mentoring and supporting junior team members Ensuring compliance with all relevant planning policies and regulations Job Requirements: Town Planning degree MRTPI qualification Experience in the private and/or public sector Proven track record of managing a large and diverse range of planning projects Significant experience in handling successful applications and appeals Experience with public inquiries Excellent understanding of planning history and policy Advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of self-motivation, especially when faced with challenges Commercial awareness, including managing client expectations and ensuring timely invoicing Capability to build and develop team members Other Requirements: Willingness to work in the Cheshire office at least 3 days each week Clean full driving licence If you are an experienced Senior Planning Consultant looking for a new challenge within a dynamic and supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.
