Sales Engineer – Aviation - Up to £50k Leading Aviation Services Company | South of England (Hybrid) Are you an experienced aviation professional looking to combine your technical expertise with a commercial role? Lynx is working with a leading aviation services company to recruit for a Sales Engineer to join their dynamic MRO Sales Team. The Role Working within their aircraft maintenance organisation, you'll play a crucial role in developing technical proposals and building strong customer relationships. This position offers hybrid working arrangements from either their Bournemouth or Farnborough location. Key Responsibilities Analyse and interpret complex aviation documentation including AMMs, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives Prepare detailed cost estimates and develop competitive, customer-specific proposals Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions Research market trends, including parts pricing and competitor offerings Liaise with customers throughout the front-end planning process Maintain sales and quoting databases Attend client meetings and industry events (occasional travel required) Required Skills & Experience Strong technical background in aviation with experience interpreting maintenance documentation Proven experience in aviation sales or engineering Excellent analytical skills, particularly in cost estimation Strong communication abilities and relationship-building skills Detail-oriented with capability to manage multiple projects Experience with aviation software systems (preferred) Package & Benefits Salary up to £50k (potentially higher for exceptional candidates) Competitive pension scheme Comprehensive healthcare package Life assurance Income protection Travel insurance Free parking Professional development support Paid volunteering days Location & Working Arrangements Based in either Bournemouth or Farnborough Hybrid working available Travel expenses covered for required inter-site visits This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing aviation services business that offers genuine career progression opportunities in a dynamic environment.
