We are looking for a Registered Nurse to be a Practice Education Facilitator within our small, friendly team at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. They will support learning and development across our teams and provide training programmes for staff in palliative and end of life care.
In collaboration with the Head of Education and Practice Development, they are responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating education and training on palliative care using a flexible, evidenced-based approach across the hospice and wider healthcare system.
In addition, they will be supporting student placements and managing preceptorships.
This is a permanent role, and we would welcome applications from those wishing to work between 30 - 37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will include:
* Working with the Head of Education & Practice Development to identify training needs and supporting the delivery of palliative care and clinical skill training and competencies.
* Participating in the development and delivery of pre and post-registration educational programmes.
* Participating in the delivery of clinical supervision.
* Responsibility for managing the library and learning resources service and line management of library staff.
Due to the requirements of the role, candidates must have a driving license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
This role is subject to an Enhanced Level DBS Check, with Adult and Child Barred Lists included.
