Your responsibilities
* As a Technical Trainer in our Medical Repair Service Centre (MRS), you will enable technicians to perform inspection, installation, maintenance and repairs by conducting high quality license training in accordance with the manufacturers (OEM) recommended standards.
* In this role you will:
o Provide technical guidance and support to the repair operations and engineering team.
o Develop and maintain progressive training methodology and technical courses, ensuring they are current and meet the standards laid out by the OEM.
* Your responsibilities will include:
o Transferring advanced technical knowledge to a group of trainees.
o Identification of training methods in virtual and real classroom trainings for transferring technical knowledge and skills.
o Training using the right approach for each learning type and ensuring professional implementation of the license concept.
o Plan and prepare training courses in advance of the course start date.
o Ensure equipment and parts are available, course material is up to date and delegate’s validity to be on the course has been checked.
o Carry out training in accordance with the OEM’s standards.
o Provide weekly update on the delegate’s progress noting any difficulties or successes relevant to the course.
o Complete post training activities including the delegates evaluation, courseware updates and licence approval.
o Analyse experienced technicians repair methods to identify different techniques that comply to the manufacturers standards but also provide time efficiency gains.
o Keep skills updated by attending relevant courses related to training.
* A nationally recognised teaching qualification would be highly desirable, but is NOT essential.
* Experience training and/or developing others in a technical environment.
* Ability to work as part of a team, yet you are self-motivated and will organise and plan your own workload.
* You have the ability to present information in a structured way, to audiences of varied technical levels.
