We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Creative Copywriter to support our Marketing team, based at our office in Didcot, Oxfordshire. We operate a hybrid working model: three or more days from the office, the remainder of the week from home. We are looking for an agile and proactive Creative Copywriter with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit who can help us nurture this company culture. Reporting directly to the Senior Content Executive, the Creative Copywriter is responsible for crafting engaging, accurate and informative product and brand descriptions that are in line with OKA tone of voice and ensure a best-in-class retail experience. The Creative Copywriter develops copy across a wide range of touchpoints, both digital and offline, including website, email, DM (including magazines), POSM and advertising. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Product naming and product description development ensuring that both are aligned and enhance brand values and tell enriched product stories that are both inspiring and functional · Creating exciting and innovative responses to briefs and pitching these new solutions to drive required outcomes · Developing copy for all consumer touchpoints across digital and offline · Creating compelling copy for the magazine that is both engaging and informative · Developing email copy for all campaigns · Ensuring creative copy for blog posts and content stories is engaging but also search engine optimised to achieve organic search results · Developing advertising and brand copy that is succinct and accurately meets the brief · Copyediting/proofreading to a high standard, ensuring that content is factually and grammatically correct and in keeping with brand style and tone of voice · Ensuring all brand, marketing and service messages are intuitive and user-led, in order to drive improvements in engagement, conversion and brand advocacy · Continually reviewing copy performance across channels to ensure campaign successes · Sharing best practice and being proactive in remaining up-to-date with current content and copywriting best practice to help inform future execution ABOUT YOU · 3 years’ experience in copyediting/proofreading, gained within a large marketing or creative team, preferably in the home, luxury or premium sectors · Meticulous use of English grammar, spelling and idiomatic expression and a flair for writing · In-depth understanding of SEO best practices · Creative eye and solid understanding of user experience and visual communications · Adept at multi-tasking and able to work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines · Able to deliver organised, efficient and flexible copy edits across different mediums and tones · Highly competent in executing thoughtful copy cuts · A creative, problem-solving spirit · Passion for the OKA brand BENEFITS · 33 days holiday (including bank holiday entitlement), plus Length of Service increases · Day off for your birthday · Health Cash Plan · Staff discount · Enhanced Maternity Pay · Employee Assistance Programme · Eligibility for a discretionary company Bonus Scheme · Plus a suite of additional employee benefits including Company pension scheme, life assurance cover, free eye tests, cycle to work scheme, interest free travel loans, social events, online wellbeing centre and more If successful you will become part of the OKA family, a fast-paced and dynamic business.
