About the Role: Our Pizza Factory is a key part of our Meal Solutions division, covering two sites and procuring a wide range of premium pizzas for retail customers. This role is based in our bakery, where we produce pizza bases which are then transferred to our ‘toppings’ site, and we’re now looking for a Shift Manager to join us and lead the night-shift team. As Shift Manager, you will report to the Bakery Operations Manager, and we’re looking for somebody who can take a team that is already performing well and take them to the next level. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Leading and developing a team of up to 60 people, ensuring all departmental KPIs and business objectives are achieved. Providing strong leadership, motivating your team to develop a positive, proactive working environment. Assessing the skills that exist within the team, identifying any gaps and areas for improvement, and putting appropriate training and development plans in place. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, contributing to the site’s Operational Excellence programme, and working to drive efficiencies and reduce waste. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with H&S policies and procedures.
