The role of Housing Support Worker with The Salvation Army is an inspirational one and key to achieving successful outcomes for our vulnerable clients.
As a motivated and dynamic Support Worker you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality programme of support which promotes client choice and control.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
You can Manage your own caseload and hours, requiring excellent time management skills, a proactive approach to your work and the ability to prioritise.
Level 3 qualification in related field or willingness to work towards it
A full UK driving license and access to a car
Knowledge of the main support needs which are commonly faced vulnerable clients including addiction and mental health
