Job Description
Salary: Up to £25,000 DoE
Location: Sheffield, Nelson or Aston
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 between the hours of 8:30 – 5:30
Key responsibilities:
1. End to end administrative support to the HR/People team. This includes processing new starters and leavers. Change of details and management of the internal HR system (Cascade).
2. Provide reporting to the Head of People using the HR System (Cascade) to support with stakeholder analysis and people related decisions
3. Conduct regular HR audits of the system ensuring we are compliant in relation to employee documentation such as CRC checks & medical records.
4. Manage our benefits platform such as Perkpal, Specsavers and Medicash.
5. Ensure that all new starter documentation is returned and recorded on to the HR system.
6. Ensure that pre-employment and probation related requirements are completed and recorded appropriately.
7. Manage and check exit interviews completed on the HR system with all appropriate leavers, flagging any concerns to the People Advisor/Partner.
8. Be the first point of contact for people related queries including absence, holidays, maternity / paternity and general HR policies and procedures.
9. Respond to incoming requests for information i.e. references, landlord/mortgage enquires and government agencies within a timely manner.
10. Provide efficient, effective and accurate support to the payroll process by ensuring accurate administration and achievement of deadlines.
11. Supporting the HR/People department in conducting some investigations where required, such as absence, timekeeping and minor conduct issues
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience within HR. The following is also beneficial to be considered for the People Administrator position:
12. Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel.
13. Excellent organisation and time management skills.
14. Experience of working in an office environment.
15. Experience of working with a HR software desirable.
16. Experience of working in an administrative capacity.
17. Excellent attention to detail
18. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
19. Proactive and able to take initiative.
20. Excellent communication skills including written and verbal.
21. Able to work effectively as part of a team and alone.
