Environmental Advisor for the Sizewell C Project
We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Advisor to support the development of one of the UK's most transformative energy projects, the Sizewell C nuclear power station. As an Environmental Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our project adheres to environmental standards and regulations. This position involves working closely with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to identify and mitigate potential environmental risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective environmental management plans and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and monitor project activities to minimize environmental harm.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering, procurement, and construction, to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution.
• Provide expert advice on environmental issues related to the project, including wildlife conservation, air and water quality, and waste management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in environmental management, either in industry or consulting, preferably in a similar role or function.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies, particularly those related to nuclear power generation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop practical solutions to environmental challenges.
