Area of Responsibilities:
Biocon Biologics, a leading global biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the newly created role of Marketing and Access Manager for our UK & Ireland affiliate. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing strategies and market access initiatives to drive growth and market penetration for our expanding Biosimilar portfolio in the UK & Ireland.
Role/Job Description:
* Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Biocon Biologics' products in the UK & Irish markets. Collaborate closely with Commercial Lead, KAMs & cross-functional team to ensure alignment with business objectives and market needs.
* Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing initiatives, including social media, VAEs, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
* Sales Campaign Management: Develop and manage sales campaigns to drive product awareness and uptake in the market. Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment with marketing strategies.
* Launch Preparation: Coordinate launch activities for new products, including positioning, messaging, and promotional material development.
* Tender management: Engagement with procurement authorities, leading all tender preparation & submission activities, ensuring Biocon Biologics maximises its commercial opportunities.
* Market Access Planning: Drive market access strategies to ensure optimal market access and reimbursement for Biocon Biologics' products. Work closely with government agencies, payers, and stakeholders to navigate market access challenges and opportunities.
* Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights. Utilase findings to inform strategic decision-making and refine marketing and market access strategies.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and industry associations. Act as a brand ambassador for Biocon Biologics, representing the company at relevant events and conferences.
* Collaboration and Leadership: Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the local and wider team. Provide functional leadership and guidance to team members
Background & Experience sought:
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Post-grad qualifications in Marketing or Access desirable.
* At least 7 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, within life sciences/Pharma /Biotech industry.
* Proven experience in end-to-end marketing and product management – Sales force campaigns, Digital engagement, Launch planning, Sales/Demand forecasting, Budget management.
* Secondary care expertise, with experience in areas such as biosimilars, biologics, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology.
* Strong understanding of market access dynamics and healthcare reimbursement systems in the UK, including ICB engagement.
* Ideally experience and knowledge of Pricing, NHS procurement, Tendering and Value demonstration.
* Experience in regional tendering with NHSE/CMU/MPSC an advantage.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving results in a European matrix organization.
* Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful marketing and commercial strategies.
* Strong aptitude for problem-solving, negotiating, and influencing business decisions
* Willingness to roll-up sleeves and take on broad operational responsibilities in a fast-moving agile environment.
