We're seeking a competent Category Manager - Healthcare Services & Pharmacywho is well-versed in public sector procurement and supply chain operations. This role is based in Sheffield and requires a sound understanding of pharmaceutical procurement principles. They provide essential services nationally including Leeds and York, and are committed to delivering top-quality healthcare procurement and frameworks to the communities they serve. Description Manage and oversee pharmaceutical procurement operations. Implement strategies for efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes. Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines related to pharmaceutical purchases. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms. Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures. Monitor market trends and make recommendations for procurement strategies. Coordinate with internal departments to forecast supply needs. Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements. Profile A successful Category Manager - Healthcare Services & Pharmacy should have: An educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Previous experience in procurement, preferably within the public sector. Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Proficiency in using procurement software and tools. An analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
