An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Nurse with mental health experience in the Assertive Outreach team. This is a fixed term position to cover maternity leave.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our multi-disciplinary team.
The Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and North Cotswolds Assertive Outreach Team provides comprehensive mental health and social care to working age adults.
The hours are 22.5 per week with some evenings and weekend shifts (on a rotational shift system). ‘Flexible’ working arrangements will be considered.

Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for a community mental health nurse who has some experience of working with adults of Working Age and caring for individuals with Enduring Mental Health problems. The post will include care coordinating a designated caseload, working within CPA Policy and associated countywide risk procedures, travelling independently, use of IT skills and a working knowledge of legislation regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, the MHA and MCA.

* Full driving licence and use of own car

* Demonstrable post qualification experience in mental health or related area
* Registered Nurse Mental Health (RMN)
* Demonstrable post qualification experience of working in the community
* Experience in recovery interventions
Knowledge/Skills
* Understanding of SMI
* Understanding of recovery
