SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £75 - £100 per day
Contract: Full Time/Part Time
Start: September term of 2024
GSL Education is looking for enthusiastic SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in school settings in Newcastle.
Job Summary: Provide tailored assistance to students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with SEN, helping them to achieve their individual educational goals.
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all students.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
* A recent graduate with a degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
* Genuine interest in working with children with SEN.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Previous experience in a similar role or volunteering with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
