What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and ambitious person to take up the role of Cover Supervisor at Belvedere Academy.
You will supervise whole classes in the absence of a teacher, delivering pre-planned, stimulating lessons whilst maintaining a purposeful learning environment through the close monitoring of behaviour and engagement. You will aim to keep students on task to ensure work is completed to a high standard and will provide effective classroom support to students when necessary. You will also ensure accurate registers are taken for each class, in accordance with academy policy.
You should be able to work effectively with young people and adults and will provide evidence of working with children. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a willingness to support with other areas of Academy Life e.g. Enrichment Trips. Evidence of a pass at GCSE/equivalent in Mathematics and English is also essential.

Belvedere was the first independent school to become an academy and is continuing the traditions and standards of its predecessor school.
