Salary: £34,500 - £44,850 pa
Location: Cambridge (hybrid – 40-60% onsite)
Contract: Fixed term contract until December 2026, full time (35 hours a week)

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Digital Skills Specialist and Trainer to join our Finance team. We are looking to appoint this role on a fixed term contract initially until December 2026.
About the role
As Digital Skills Specialist and Trainer, you will deliver a cutting-edge training programme tailored to the needs of our Finance department and internal customers. You will play a key role in delivering high quality change and skill improvement over the next 18 months.
As part of our Transformation Team, you will design, develop, and deliver the training programme as part of our global Finance Transformation Programme.
This programme will focus on enhancing digital skills in Power BI, Power Query, Advanced Excel, Data Modelling, Data Visualisation, and Process Automation using Power Automate.
The role will emphasise self-learning and self-service training, complemented by some face-to-face delivery for a global audience.
This programme is pivotal to ensuring the future finance function is as efficient as possible and enabling our people to continue to make significant impact.
About you
You are an experienced trainer with a background in Finance or a strong understanding of Finance processes, coupled with expertise in instructional design and the latest trends in digital learning.
You will be able to identify a full comprehensive digital and professional skills programme tailored specifically to the needs of our finance community. From identification to developing and delivering the programme, you will be used to creating engaging and effective training materials and approaches to enable a clear and impactful step change in how professionals deliver their responsibilities.
