Title: Business System Trainer Rate: £400 per day Type: Temporary - until the end of September Location: New Shire Hall, Huntingdon Opus People Solutions are working with Cambridgehsire County Council to recruit an interim Business System Trainer to develop best practice solutions using in-house and external capability that supports the implementation, ensuring e-learning, user documentation and training is prepared and delivered in an appropriate and timely manner. Experience with training users in Liquid Logic is essential, preferably the EYES Module. Main Responsibilities: Lead on the planning, design and delivery of the specialist Business IT Systems training service. Support the team in the designing of blended learning, self-serve, e-learning and virtual instructor led training (VILT) and development interventions and activities, utilising latest innovative technologies to ensure staff are fully able to utilise the range of Business IT systems. Develop and apply evaluation processes to review the quality and impact of our service offering; contribute to and produce management reports; develop and maintain appropriate documentation; review performance and quality data and take appropriate corrective action where necessary. Lead system implementation and upgrade project training work streams, delivering training interventions, supporting resources and co-ordinating, carrying out and supporting user acceptance testing. Maintain a detailed knowledge of the current and planned functionality of specialist Business IT systems in use in the council, and their contribution to operational efficiency and management information delivery in the context of local and national service delivery requirements, to be reflected in the delivery and development of the service. Be a key point for liaison and communication with service teams. Represent the council with partner organisations and other agencies so that IT Business Systems Training can be developed in line with council standards and the IT strategy, and that funding sources are identified and utilised to their maximum effect. Line manage and advise on the recruitment, development, deployment, and appraisal of Business Systems, to obtain and maintain a high level of professionalism within the services, in conjunction with the Business Systems Service Manager.
