An exciting opportunity exists for an Administrative Apprentice at West Newcastle Academy.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Administrative Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start their professional career in administration and gain valuable skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide general administrative support to various departments within the company, including but not limited to filing, data entry, and document management.
2. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
3. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle incoming and outgoing mail.
4. Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the team members.
5. Maintain and update filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
6. Assist in organising and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
7. Undertake any other administrative tasks as assigned by the School Business Manager.
Requirements:
1. GCSE in Maths and English qualification.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
8. A positive and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
