What will you be responsible for?
As a Supervisor, you'll be working within the Maintenance team, supporting them in planning & scheduling works packages for the highway's maintenance teams in, along with the supervision of maintenance work of both internal works and supply chain.
Assisting the Technician in achieving and exceeding key business targets and key performance indicators, promoting a culture of integration, best practice and continual business improvement
Complying with Highways works specification and the integrated management system
Confirming gangs are receiving morning daily briefings and an end of day de-brief a long with completion of all paperwork, being a key point of contact for all maintenance applications on the handheld devices
Completing on-site inspections, promoting near miss reporting, collaborating with all supply-chain in improving health and safety standards & best practice, reporting incidents / accidents in-line with the Kier golden hour process, attending all incidents and completing investigations
Adhering to all health and safety standards across the contract - 5 SHE Basics - 10 steps to safe excavation - SSOW/RA / POWRA, delivering all group & contract health & safety briefings to the teams, signing off and loading to the passport card
This Role Of Supervisor
You hold previous supervisory or line management experience with knowledge of highway works
Have an SMSTS OR SSSTS as well as 12D M7 Lantra
Drive and hold a current driving licence
